Amdocs (NYSE:DOX) , the leading provider of software and services to enable integrated customer management and the intentional customer experience(TM), today announced that it has acquired Stibo Graphic Software, a leading solutions provider to European directory publishers, from Stibo A/S. The acquisition solidifies Amdocs’ position as a leader in electronic and print directory publishing solutions and positions Amdocs for continued growth in Europe.
“The European advertising and media industry — which includes print and online directory publishers and is the second-largest market after North America — is undergoing accelerated change, and this is an ideal time for Amdocs to capitalize on that change,” said Eli Gelman, executive vice president of Amdocs Management Limited. “Stibo Graphic Software’s solid reputation and proven expertise in the European market, its strong existing customer relationships, significant market share and a great team of people, complement Amdocs’ strong management, deep industry knowledge, financial backing and global resources. This acquisition puts Amdocs in a good position for continued success in the growing European advertising and media market.”
Stibo Graphic Software counts some of the largest directory publishing companies in Europe among its customers, including Pages Jaunes of France, SEAT of Italy; and European Directories. Stibo Graphic Software is headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark and has more than 60 employees. Stibo Graphic Software will be part of the Amdocs Advertising and Media division.
“This is a win-win for Stibo Graphic Software, which now has a global partner in Amdocs who is already a leader in directory publishing solutions, as well as for Amdocs,” said Henning Christensen, director, Stibo Graphic Software. “This is also good news for Stibo Graphic Software’s existing customers, who will benefit from the industry knowledge, an expanded product set, as well as Amdocs’ global best practices, strong services expertise and more robust solutions.”
The terms are not disclosed, but its impact on the Amdocs cash position and operating results is expected to be immaterial.
