ProfitLine, the premier provider of outsourced telecom lifecycle management, has appointed Andreas Schenck senior vice president of sales and marketing. In this new position, Mr. Schenck is responsible for guiding the sales force and the development of marketing strategies that drive growth for ProfitLine. ProfitLine provides enterprises and federal agencies with a complete, outsourced solution for managing the entire telecom lifecycle.
Schenck joins ProfitLine with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and operational management. In the telecom space, his focus was on wireless billing, Internet and value-added billing and service management, specifically in the voice, wireless and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) industries. Schenck’s extensive experience in emerging technologies is a key benefit for ProfitLine’s clients as they address the challenges of effectively integrating VoIP and wireless technologies into their existing communication infrastructure.
“Andreas’ proven successes in driving company growth–with truly superior entrepreneurial effort and execution–make him a fine choice for the new position,” said Rick Valencia, chief executive officer for ProfitLine. “His VoIP, wireless billing, and overall telecom expertise fit perfectly with ProfitLine’s business strategy, and provide us with yet another telecom guru to be at the disposal of our clients. On top of that, he is a clear thinker with extensive business-building experience to assist in enhancing our leadership position in the telecom expense management industry.”
Schenck’s roles throughout his career were customer-focused and his approach to growth is based on the understanding of customer needs. As the chief divisional officer at Nobel LLC, he was responsible for leading the growth of the global business units. Prior to that, he was the general manager of the Americas for Digiquant/Intec, an Internet services and VoIP billing company, where he was responsible for starting and leading the business unit focused on the Americas. In the wireless industry, he led the North American division of LHS Group, a wireless billing software vendor. Internationally, Schenck led the build-out of the South American business unit of LHS Group, served as the chief information officer of Delphi-PES, a multi-billion dollar pan-European manufacturing company, and was a divisional manager for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) responsible for business across Europe.
“ProfitLine’s growth and customer service track record are impressive, and I’m thrilled to be part of a company that offers such a compelling value proposition across the full telecom service lifecycle,” said Schenck, vice president of marketing and sales for ProfitLine. “ProfitLine’s operational depth, advanced technology, its long-term customer relationships and its breadth of services put it in a unique position with the telecom expense management industry. I am convinced we have only begun to scratch the surface of delivering value to our clients.”
To improve the reach and focus of ProfitLine’s partner program, Skip McDowell, previously the vice president responsible for sales, has been promoted to senior vice president of business development, and will continue to serve in a strategic role for ProfitLine.
