AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASIA) , a leading provider of telecom software solutions and IT security products and services, has won a tender with China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile operator, to deploy Business and Operation Support Systems (BOSS) for China Mobile’s extended TD-SCDMA trials in four provinces and three municipalities.

In accordance with the 3G trial plan set forth by China’s Ministry of Information Industry, China Mobile is conducting TD-SCDMA-based extended 3G trials in four provinces and three municipalities across China including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Tianjin, Liaoning, Hebei, and Fujian. AsiaInfo is the exclusive provider for the Business and Operation Support System for China Mobile’s extended TD-SCDMA trials in these regions.
Using its leading OpenBOSS solution, AsiaInfo will provide total billing and customer relationship management solutions to all the extended trials. In addition, AsiaInfo will provide professional consulting services to assist in the design of business models and service processes.
