With effect from 1 April, Dr Ralf Guckert has been appointed as a further managing director and CTO of Orga Systems GmbH. With Guckert, an internationally recognized and renowned BSS expert will take over responsibility for the technology area and thus also the further expansion of the portfolio of real-time based products for the telecoms industry, energy industry as well as M2M applications in further industries, for example automotive.

Customer care and billing for digitally networked life

This is why, with Dr Ralf Guckert, an internationally recognized BSS expert will take over our technology area. His scientific background, his experience and his customer orientation make him the ideal person to raise the attractiveness of our offers for traditional and new industries and to implement them more quickly”, comments CEO Wolfgang Kroh, chairman of the management board, who is looking forward to work with Dr Ralf Guckert.

For years actively shaping the telecoms industry
First of all, Dr Ralf Guckert studied at the University of Gießen, Germany, where he also did his doctorate, and then he worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, USA. At the beginning of 2000, he started his impressive career at the former LHS Group. This was followed by worldwide responsibility for the development and implementation of product strategies for charging, billing and customer care at international corporations such Nokia Siemens Networks and Ericsson. Most recently, Mr Guckert was responsible at Ericsson Group for the area of Business Support System Solutions. The appointment as new CTO, next to Wolfgang Kroh (CEO) and Johannes Nußbickel (CFO), underlines both the importance of the position and Orga Systems’ determination to strengthen the technology area in the long run.
