Telcoms are constantly battling with how to transform customer’s data into intelligent information so that they can improve their business decision making process, get products to market quickly and efficiently, examine strategy and address practical and operational issues. Help is at hand as the first event of its kind has been launched on Business Intelligence for Telecom operators organized by IIR Conferences from 27th – 30th March 2006 at the Andels Hotel, Prague.Â
After successfully building the product management infrastructure for BT’s Corporate Voice Services and transforming the OSS and Billing architecture for BT, Celona Technologies – the industry’s front runner in Product, Content and Service Management, together with Openreach (a BT group business) have been approached and selected by IIR Conferences to co-host the Interactive post-conference workshop which takes place on the last day of the conference on Thursday 30th March entitled: “Developing And Delivering An Effective Product Portfolio Strategy Through Integrated Business Intelligence”.
Hanna Jackson – Conference Director at IIR Telecoms – Billing Portfolio said “We are delighted to be working with Celona and Openreach on the forthcoming Business Intelligence for Telecoms Operators conference. Given Celona’s proven track record in working with BT and their position as a thought leader in the product portfolio management market, I am very pleased that they will be hosting a workshop on this subject, as we feel they will bring a great deal of gravitas and foresight to the event.”
Chris Gibbs – Director of Strategy and Portfolio, Openreach said “Celona is a natural partner for the event. Their advanced software and thought leadership in the area of Product Portfolio Management means that they are well placed to discuss the challenges of joined-up business intelligence.”
The Celona product enables operators to quickly and simply introduce new telecoms products and services, significantly reducing the time required for implementation. Celona also improves data consistency between applications such as billing and CRM and therefore greatly help to reduce operational costs.
