Clarity, the leading provider of Unified NGOSS Telecommunications Operational Management solutions today announced a high-profile presence at the Frost & Sullivan 4th Annual OSS BSS Asia-Pacific Summit in Singapore, taking place from 24th – 25th March, 2010.
Clarity has been selected to present a thought-leadership paper on the first day of the summit, entitled “Customer management is just beginning”. Tony Kalcina, Chief Product Officer from Clarity will examine why customer and service-centric operations are the only path to long-term profitability, especially as user device evolution and network technology advances keep customers wanting more.
On day two of the summit, Clarity is also taking part in a panel discussion on “A new generation of service realities”. This roundtable will look at:
• New technology service offering realities
• The potential benefits and risks of today’s new service opportunities
• Whether there is still an OSS or BSS functionality “gap” that isn’t being addressed
Kalcina commented, “As data volumes increase, managing customer needs tied with service availability, quality, and affordability requires different tools and a different mindset to address what ultimately is a business problem. Strategies involving a focus on service and customer management mean network utilisation and node capacity monitoring, though important, are not as crucial as understanding the customer’s service experience. This high-profile OSS/BSS Forum is ideal for sharing views and interacting to expand the envelope of innovation.”
