Gigaclear, provider of ultrafast fibre optic broadband to the UK’s rural communities, has recently selected Netadmin Systems’ OSS platform to speed up delivery and automate processes of Gigaclears broadband.
Gigaclear is a private company dedicated to building and operating ultrafast broadband networks based on pure fibre technology. Gigaclear delivers ultrafast broadband access to homes and businesses in rural communities bursting at more than 100x the UK average Internet speed. Their service provides open access to the Internet using a fibre to the premises service that is reliable, ultrafast, and cost effective.
Gigaclear has now chosen Netadmin Systems’ OSS solution to automate the processes of their broadband services. Gigaclear is utilizing all of the main features of NETadmin including network monitoring, service provisioning, customer management and ticket management.
“Once the homes are connected to the high-speed fibre network and the customers’ gigabit services are delivered, the next issue to address is to getting the home networks up to speed. The customer devices and cables that used to work fine with a megabit DSL line might no longer do the job. Wireless coverage in big houses might not be good enough to make use of the bandwidth that is now available”, said Christer Karlsson, CTO at Gigaclear.
