HP Enterprise Services has expanded telecom offerings to help customers plan and execute transformation strategies that lead to business growth. HP expanded two portfolios that support communications service providers (CSPs): HP Solutions Consulting Services (HP SCS) and HP Operations Support Systems Transformation solutions for network and service management.
These portfolios provide CSPs with expertise and tools for successful business transformation, including strategic and financial advisory, operational analysis, transformation management, and a full portfolio of operations support systems (OSS) software and integration services.
CSPs can plan and execute transformation strategies with HP Solutions Consulting Services and HP OSS Transformation solutions,” said David Sliter, vice president and general manager, Communications and Media Solutions, HP Enterprise Services. “To grow, CSPs need to enhance the customer experience, and that means fact-based transformation strategies, tight governance and automated solutions.”
HP SCS adds benchmarking to support transformation analysis
HP SCS, a global business consulting practice for the communications industry, has been expanded to include a benchmarking capability designed to help CSPs compare business and operational performance against peers, competitors and industry practices.
HP SCS Benchmarking is the foundation for the HP SCS Strategic and Financial Advisory, a new set of capabilities that enable CSPs to develop complete business transformation strategies based on quantitative knowledge of current performance and alignment of business improvement initiatives to strategic objectives.
HP SCS Benchmarking provides valuable performance comparisons in less time and at a reduced cost than previously possible by using industry benchmark information and by leveraging HP SCS capabilities and assets including the HP COSMOS blueprint for the industry.
The HP SCS Strategic and Financial Advisory also includes cost and revenue analysis, business case evaluation and strategy development.
HP adds OSS solutions to accelerate transformation and revenue growth
HP is adding new prepackaged solutions combining consultancy, software and a full services life cycle to its OSS Transformation portfolio. HP offers a variety of OSS delivery and sourcing options, including IT and infrastructure outsourcing, application management, business process outsourcing, OSS from the Cloud, and a pay-as-you-grow model.
The new fulfillment and assurance solutions are designed to improve the customer experience, reduce complexity and cost, and lay the groundwork for business growth. With pretested and prepackaged solutions, CSPs can deploy rapidly and accelerate time-to-value.
— HP Customer Experience Assurance (HP CEA) can help CSPs elevate service quality by providing a clear, continuous view into the actual user experience. HP CEA offers two solutions that detect customer problems in real time and link that information with the rest of OSS:
— HP Integrated Traffic Management System enables CSPs to efficiently detect and diagnose customer experience issues.
— Accanto Systems strengthens the HP CEA offering with the intelligent Customer Service Assurance (iCSA) solution. iCSA enables CSPs to speed up complex problem resolution by providing a consolidated view of subscriber experiences and network quality.
“Accanto and HP can deliver a better customer experience with fewer complaints, thanks to easier trouble isolation and root cause analysis,” said Michele Campriani, chief executive officer, Accanto Systems.
— HP Multi-Country Assurance helps CSPs reduce complexity and cost by consolidating network operations centers.
— HP Fulfillment/Mobile and HP Fulfillment/MetroEthernet provide a seamless customer experience as new service orders are processed.
