Info Directions (booth #1731), leading provider of net-centric billing, rating, order management, workflow and selling solutions for communications service providers, has announced a joint marketing agreement with Network Services Group (NSG), a leading provider of switch activation services. The agreement offers service providers an integrated approach to connecting and managing interfaces for a wide range of the industry’s top softswitch and traditional switch vendors.
The two companies are connecting their solutions to provide flow-through provisioning from Info Directions’ CostGuard®.NET operations and billing solution through NSG’s Service Automation Master product. Service Automation Master (SAM) offers interfaces to switches from Nortel, Siemens, Lucent, MetaSwitch, Sylantro and more. SAM is also designed to communicate with voicemail, intercept and DSLAM equipment. The partnership will give service providers a single source for interfaces already tested and deployed, helping them reduce the amount of time required to launch a new switch. NSG’s interfaces have also been optimized to reduce the time it takes to process orders and to ensure greater accuracy in those orders. A joint Info Directions and NSG solution is slated for deployment at a customer site in June.
