Intec Telecom Systems PLC announced the appointment of Andy Thorburn as President, Global Sales. Andy will join Intec on 30 June 2008.

Andy joins Intec from Chronicle Solutions, where he was CEO, and prior to this, spent seven years in the Benchmark Capital Portfolio, holding senior leadership positions at Kalido, Orchestria, and Impresse Corporations. He brings to Intec a wealth of experience in global sales management, business development, corporate strategy and marketing.

Previously in his career, Andy spent over 15 years with BT in number of sales, service and general management positions. During this period, he held the position of General Manager for BT Corporate Clients, where he was responsible for increasing revenue from £200m to £300m (as of today, from USD $391.9 million to USD $587.9 million) in a 2-year period. Andy, was also Sales and Business Development Director at Siemens Business Services, where he was responsible for securing significant new business contracts and driving high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
