Intec Billing, a leading software vendor to telecom carriers operating fixed, mobile and next-generation networks, has announced that Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), a full service telecoms provider and one of the largest internet service providers in India, has selected Intec to supply its convergent billing systems in a multi-million dollar deal. Intec Convergent Billing (Singl.eView) will form a key part of the carrier’s convergence strategy for rapid penetration and growth via innovative, next generation communications services in India.
MTNL, which was set up on 1st April, 1986, is a government owned incumbent communications provider, with a subscriber base of over 5 million in India, one of the world’s fastest growing telecoms markets.
