Interactive Enterprise Limited (IE) and Suntech have signed a new agreement where both companies will work together in delivering an integrated end-to-end solution for the Polish and Eastern European broadband market encompassing billing, customer relationship management (CRM), network inventory and planning and service provisioning and management.
Under the terms of the agreement, Suntech will resell Interactive Enterprise’s industry-leading service provisioning and management solution, Conexon as part of its suite of existing Operational(OSS) and Business(BSS) Support Systems consisting of pre-integrated billing, CRM, workflow and network inventory.
With greater competition in the broadband market, service providers are looking for more innovative ways to streamline their operational costs while at the same time being more responsive and creative in meeting their customers’ needs. Having an end-to-end integrated OSS/BSS solution enables service providers reduce their operational costs and deliver a more enhanced level of customer satisfaction. Because the IE/Suntech solution is integrated, operators do not need to spend unnecessary time and resources integrating diverse OSS/BSS elements. Additionally, they can seamlessly create and activate services from order-entry right through to CPE access devices instantaneously.
Paul McBride, CEO, Interactive Enterprise said, â€We are delighted to be partnering with Suntech and believe our new agreement will bring significant benefits to broadband operators within the Polish and Eastern European markets. With our Conexon solution combined with Suntech’s range of OSS/BSS solutions, operators can now realise substantial cost-savings in creating and delivering broadband services across their subscriber base.”
As part of their new agreement, Interactive Enterprise and Suntech have worked on developing an interface between their respective solutions that will provide operators with flow-through provisioning capabilities from order-entry right through to CPE devices. In effect, operators can seamlessly automate the creation and activation of their service offerings from one single point of entry. This has enormous benefit for the operator as it eliminates the need to link disparate and disconnected systems together and ensures services can be activated as quickly as possible.
“As one of the leading OSS/BSS vendors in Poland, we look forward to developing a strong and long lasting partnership with Interactive Enterprise. With operators wishing to deliver more complex and varied service packages across multiple technologies and networks, we are confident that an integrated solution from IE and Suntech will enable them optimize revenue generation and customer satisfaction,†said Piotr Saczuk, CEO, Suntech.
