VOSS Solutions has appointed Jim Ortbals as Vice President, Partner Sales. Following the recently announced VOSS-4-UC in September 2013, the latest release of the VOSS UC management platform, there has been a growing requirement from the global partner community to develop new go-to-market strategies with VOSS, as VOSS-4-UC is well suited to help partners deliver additional value to their end customers.
Jim Ortbals joined VOSS on November 1 to support VOSS’ commitment to the partner community; overseeing the VOSS global partner program, and taking VOSS’ strategic partner relations to the next level.
Jim brings to VOSS more than 15 years of sales and management experience. Over the course of Jim’s career, he has been on the leading edge as the market for unified communications (UC) has developed. Having held partner management roles at a number of companies including Cisco, Jim has developed new markets focused on UC and built partner strategies to allow the partner community to capitalize on this growth. Jim holds a BS degree in Business, specializing in Management Information Systems, from Miami University in Oxford, OH.
