Risk management software solution provider, Neural Technologies, has been selected as a finalist for the IT Supplier of the Year Award by the BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards 2010 in the Organisational Excellence category. The shortlisting is a recognition of the company’s work on a major fraud and credit risk management project carried out for leading Turkish mobile operator, Turkcell.
The BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards are a leading hallmark of success amongst practitioners in the IT industry and a platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence. Neural Technologies won this prestigious award in 2008, beating off competition from industry giants such as IBM, Sun Microsystems and Ericsson.
Said David Clarke, Chief Executive Officer, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, “Congratulations to all the finalists. They can be proud of their achievements. Their projects and work showcase the professionalism that exists among IT professionals and also highlights the value of IT today and the way it touches so many areas of society.”
Added Robin Booth, Publishing Director of Computing, “I would like to add my congratulations to the finalists. The UK IT Industry Awards are rigorously judged and to be announced as a finalist is a great achievement. I don’t envy the judges who now have to decide the winners; it’s going to be very tough.”
The winner will be announced at a presentation ceremony taking place at the Battersea Park Events Arena in London on Thursday 11th November 2010.
