Open Universe, Telenor Swedens communications operator that was launched in the end of 2011, part of the world-leading supplier of communication services Telenor Group, has selected Netadmin Systems, a market leader in OSS systems, to deliver a communication operator management system.

The NETadmin OSS solution is now being rolled out in Open Universe, to automate the service fulfilment and assurance processes. It will also provide a user-friendly platform for Telenor Sweden and other service providers to launch their services from.

Netadmin Systems’ open OSS solution NETadmin is a software platform that automates operational and business processes in open broadband networks, making it anideal partner for Open Universe, whose products are also based on open standards.

Open Universe is a new business area within Telenor Sweden that was established in the end of 2011, with the mission to operate as a communications operator in the fixed broadband market in Sweden.

The platform provides functional support for automated service fulfilment, including inventory and resource management, ticket management, and SLA statistics. It also speeds up network troubleshooting due to the complete view in one system.
