MetraTech Corp., the leading provider of Web Services-based billing, customer self-care, and partner management solutions, has recently announced that Rob Dracup, an experienced and well-recognised figure in the BSS market, has joined the company as channel development director.
Rob has come to MetraTech from Comverse Technologies, where he was most recently a sales account director.
Rob has worked in the telecommunications for over 20 years, for Alcatel, Lucent, Unisys and most recently Comverse in its billing unit covering both the Real Time and Kenan billing product offerings. He has a strong track record of leading sales and account management of complex IT and telecommunications solutions to most major UK based operators, including BT, Orange, Vodafone, NTL and O2.
Rob has considerable experience of working in partnership with other suppliers including Accenture, IBM, LogicaCMG, CapGemini, Oracle, TechMahindra and Sun.
In his new role, Dracup will be responsible for building key strategic relationships with MetraTech partners in the EMEA region, who will benefit from his extensive market knowledge. He will report to Vladimir Mitrasinovic, MetraTech’s vice president of global sales and marketing.
