Satyam Computer Services Ltd., a global consulting and IT services provider recently announced the appointment of Mr. Sreenidhi ‘Nick’ Sharma as Senior Vice President for its Infrastructure Management Services (IMS). Nick will build the Company’s competencies in the Infrastructure Management Services around application of information and network technology. Nick will operate out of Boston, USA.

He will leverage his experience to build a world-class IMS practice that delivers Internetworking, Next Generation Networks, Application Infrastructure Services, Security Infrastructure Services, Identity and Access Management services as well as Distributed IT Strategy.
Nick joins Satyam from Unisys, USA, where he was the Vice President and Managing Partner for Infrastructure Transformation Services. At Unisys since 2002, he was responsible for leading a 500-member group. His accomplishments in the last three years include doubling the size of the business, and helping the organization to focus on solution-selling and integrating the ITS roadmap with the go-to-market strategy.
Prior to Unisys, Nick was Vice President and General Manager at Nortel Networks, in the United States, Canada and Latin America. At Nortel Networks, Nick provided leadership and strategic direction to the organization in providing end-to-end solutions to Service Providers, ASP’s, ISP’s, CLEC’s and enterprise customers in Optical and Local Internet, Next Generation Networks, Managed Services, OSS/BSS/Customer Care, Applications and Content Networking.
Nick also had a stint with Compaq, USA for 3 years and Digital, US for 17 years in various leadership capacities. His responsibilities included managing a US$ 250 mn organization with 650 consultants. He transformed the organization into an account-centric operating model, increasing the value of the business by greater than 25%. Nick also successfully managed to establish Compaq as the Microsoft Premier Services Partner in the Northeast, US. He built strong relationships with key Independent Software Vendors to drive the CRM, ERP and SCM segments. Nick has 20+ years of leadership experience. He earned a BS degree at Osmania University (Hyderabad, India) and MS from the University of Texas. He is a graduate of Executive Management programs at the Harvard Business School and the University of California, Berkeley.
