Comptel Corporation (NASDAQ OMX Helsinki: CTL1V) recently announced that Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has chosen Comptel Catalog to be a key part of its ‘future-ready’ fulfillment architecture. The deal, consisting of licenses, services and consulting, will enable STC to have greater flexibility in service creation, eliminate service delivery bottlenecks, and be increasingly responsive to customers and competitive initiatives.
STC in Saudi Arabia has been a Comptel customer since 2000. It provides integrated mobile, fixed and broadband communications services to millions of customers globally. The communications service provider (CSP) group, headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is the largest telecommunications company by market capitalization, total revenue and number of employees in the Arab State region. In the last few years, STC has expanded internationally into a number of GCC countries, Asia and Africa.
Comptel Fulfillment streamlines all service delivery functionality—including comprehensive order workflow and management, service and resource inventory, technical service catalog, and provisioning and activation—into a single platform that can manage converged services in a network-agnostic environment. This approach results in a consolidated service perspective, improved asset management and lower total cost of ownership.
Comptel Catalog enables CSPs to build and adapt marketable products quickly from established service components, minimising errors and improving the customer experience. It then orchestrates the delivery of those complex offerings across multiple, service-specific delivery platforms, bringing new revenues with minimal delay and allowing an agile response to innovation and market changes.
