Sigma Systems, a provider and leader in the design, development and deployment of OSS service management solutions, has announced the general availability of Release 3.2 of its broadband IP service management solutions.
Sigma Solution Release 3.2 is the assembly of the industry best practices for OSS service management and relevant order management, service authorization, resource management, provisioning/activation, and self-care of HSD/ISP, VoIP and digital video services.
Sigma’s Broadband IP Solutions are pre-configured to manage triple play deployments and afford a common solution architecture to migrate to “All Play” services in support of the evolution to IMS. These solutions may be deployed for broadband IP access network technologies including DOCSIS 1.x/2.x/3.x, PacketCable 1.x/2.x, DSL, FTTx, WiFi, WiMax and 2-Way satellite.
“Sigma Solutions for Broadband IP service providers and its ongoing product enhancements stem from over 11 years of extensive hands-on triple and quad-play deployment experience, and direct input from our customers – major service providers in North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific and CALA,” said Rick Mallon, VP of Product Management, Sigma Systems. “As the global leader in OSS service management, our solutions help operators automate operations and rapidly deploy HSD/ISP, VoIP, video and converged services over any broadband IP access network infrastructure – whether fixed or wireless.”
Sigma Solutions are powered by the industry leading Sigma Service Management Platform (SMP). SMP is highly reliable and scalable OSS platform that is built upon a J2EE architecture, a federated information model and adheres to TMF standards including the OSS-J order management APIs. Sigma SMP and its solutions enable new and innovative subscribed, on-demand and event-driven services through its open and configurable architecture, APIs and adapter integration frameworks.
