Subex Azure, a provider of revenue maximization (revenue assurance) solutions for telecom operators, has signed an agreement with Sun Microsystems to deliver Subex Azure’s RevMax revenue maximization revenue assurance solutions to wireless, wireline and cable operators worldwide.

The RevMax revenue assurance suite of products helps telecom operators monitor and manage the entire revenue lifecycle. This is done through stand-alone modules or integrated systems for revenue assurance, telecom fraud, interconnect billing, risk management, inter-party management and route optimization. This reduces lost revenue and deliver sustainable profits to telecom operators. Subex Azure’s RevMax revenue assurance suite of products are available on the Sun Microsystems Solaris 10 Operating System (OS) on the UltraSPARC processor-based platform.

Subex Azure provides a revenue maximization solution that is designed to minimize the revenue leakage across the entire revenue chain. This revenue maximiation solution, optimized on technology by Sun Microsystems, identifies the revenue leakage sources, quantifying their magnitude and fully addressing them. Subex Azure offers a set of pre-configured solution templates to address revenue assurance, telecom fraud and inter-party management challenges. These challenges are inherent to wireless, fixed, cable and MVNO operators. The Subex Azure revenue maximization solution templates address revenue assurance issues across multiple functional areas. These issues include service fulfillment, usage integrity, retail billing, interconnect/wholesale billing and content settlement. Using these revenue maximization solution templates, telecom operators can dramatically reduce the time required to implement or extend the coverage of their revenue assurance practice.
