Cramer, a telecom software vendor, today announced a series of moves that will expand its presence in Atlanta. The company has appointed two Atlanta-based executives, secured new office space in the Georgia Tech Venture Center (GTVC), and launched a growth initiative that will triple the size of the Atlanta office over the next six months.Â
Cramer is a leading provider of software for the telecommunications industry. Tier 1 telecommunications companies continue to deploy Cramer’s solutions and include Bell Canada, Cablecom, KPN, Telefonica and Vodafone. In addition, the company has partnerships with Accenture, Alcatel, Ericsson, HP, IBM, Micromuse, Nortel, Oracle and SAP.
Cramer has appointed two executives to support its growing customer and partner base in this region, Todd Fryburger and Nelson Veiga. Todd Fryburger recently joined Cramer as vice president of Cramer Global Services, Americas, Cramer’s consulting, education and training division. Fryburger is responsible for all aspects of the company’s consulting services in North America and Latin America. Fryburger brings more than 20 years of experience to Cramer and most recently was with PeopleSoft Corporation (now Oracle). Prior to PeopleSoft, he held executive positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, IBM, and GE Information Services.
Nelson Veiga has been named Global Vice President for Sales Engineering and Advanced Applications, Cramer. In this role, Veiga leads a team of technical experts that play an integral role in the company’s business development activities worldwide. Veiga joined Cramer in 2004 and is a telecom industry veteran, having spent nearly a decade in similar roles at Amdocs and Clarify.
“Our clear objective is to work closely with our customers and partners to enable companies to make the transformation to next generation network and service delivery as quickly and effectively as possible,” Fryburger said. “In that spirit, we will continue to recruit top-notch talent across all segments of our business, and we look forward to a productive collaboration with the GTVC community.”
“Atlanta is renowned as a center of technology and telecommunications excellence,” said Veiga. “We are confident it will serve as a perfect complement to our Americas headquarters in Dallas as we continue to expand our operations in response to strong customer demand.”
Cramer will move into its new facility, located in the Centergy One Building at Technology Square in midtown Atlanta, in March. The office will be home to consulting, training, and sales personnel focused on serving customers and partners throughout the Americas.
