Theta Networks is currently deploying TD-SCDMA monitoring solutions for China Mobile in several major provinces for China Mobile’s newly built 3G TD-SCDMA network. Theta Networks solutions are capable of network traffic monitoring on TD-SCDMA by analyzing the IuPS interface. China Mobile will use Theta Networks solutions for the analysis of network performance, connectivity errors in interfaces, user behavior analysis and customer complaint management.
Presently, Theta Networks’ solutions can be implemented in all three types of 3G networks (WDCDMA, TD-SCDMA, and CDMA2000). China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile network with 477.2 million customers as of March 2009, has invested in a TD-SCDMA network, which will likely be the largest 3G mobile network in the world. China Mobile has chosen Theta Networks’ solutions on numerous occasions for their monitoring and security needs.
“We at Theta Networks are proud that we have been able to adapt our solutions to the latest technologies in a timely fashion” said Dawn Fang, Theta Networks VP of China Operations. “We believe that our solutions will allow China Mobile to significantly improve their ARPU as they progress forward with their 3G TD-SCDMA network”.
