Commenting, Martin Creaner, president and COO, TM Forum explained, “Buenos Aires follows on from the highly successful launch of the Regional Spotlights series last month in Sao Paulo. We are already expecting over 100 attendees with 27% of registrants service providers. These highly focused events are proving to be very popular and are an opportunity for us to put the Forum’s solutions in the context of the needs of specific markets – bringing together leaders from across the region to discuss common issues, make new contacts and, critically, understand the importance of industry collaboration.”
According to José Ricardo Formagio Bueno, Telefonica “This a great opportunity to join key telecom and communications players of the region to hear real experience in using the TM Forum best practices and the respective benefits from this, such as reducing the CAPEX and OPEX in the whole value chain point of view.”
A TM Forum member since October 1998, Amdocs has immersed itself in the development of the Forum’s standards work, delivering contributions to working groups and catalyst projects and playing a lead role in ensuring that standards apply to real world management needs in today’s industry. “We are pleased to continue to support TM Forum’s work in Latin America by backing the delivery of the first Regional Spotlights in the region, which will enable members and non-members to discuss the latest business issues affecting digital media and communication services in an open forum.” said Monica Zlotogorski, TM Forum’s vice chair, Latin American Advisory Board (LAB), editor of TM Forum’s Inside Latin America and head of Amdocs’ CALA Marketing.
