Tony Kalcina, Chief Product Officer at Clarity, the leading provider of Unified NGOSS Telecommunications Operational Management solutions, has been appointed to the TM Forum’s Advisory Council. With over 30 years’ experience in the global telecoms industry, 25 of which are in OSS, Tony will provide executive assistance and advice to the TM Forum on a range of important issues.
The TM Forum is the world’s leading association focused on enabling best-in-class IT for service providers in the communications, media and cloud services markets. The Forum provides business-critical industry standards and expertise to enable the creation, delivery and monetization of digital services. The Advisory Council draws upon an elite pool of industry experts, who provide valuable ongoing insight into key industry sectors and assists in reviewing the TM Forum strategy.
As Founder of Clarity, Tony conceived the Cross Industry Unified Operational Management vision and in his current role, Tony is responsible for formulating Clarity’s strategic direction and ensuring product success in the industry. Under Tony’s strategic direction, Clarity was named Frost & Sullivan’s “OSS Vendor of the Year – Asia Pacific” in 2007 and won the 2009 Engineering Australia Award. In addition, Clarity was selected by Gartner in its 2010 Scorecard of leading vendors in the OSS market, obtaining a “Strong” rating for its product and service propositions.
