VOSS Solutions, leading provider of Unified Communications (UC) service delivery and management software, recently announced that a large, US-based, Fortune 100 enterprise organization has selected VOSS 7.1 for unified communications management.
Due to increasing complexity and budget constraints, the enterprise organization was challenged internally to find a new systematic approach to their UC management and delivery. They sought a solution that would allow their staff to leverage internal IT teams and other personnel resources across the organization. Their focus was on improving the speed of delivering new applications and services, as well as creating an architecture that would allow a tightly controlled and delegated administration portal to various groups of employees in multiple locations.
VOSS was selected to provide the organization with simplified management and administration of their hosted telephony platform. The solution incorporates VOSS 7.1 and a high-availability clustered server architecture, supporting multi-tenant voice service provisioning and service management.
Using VOSS 7.1 as the central services management platform, the organization is now able to deploy voice services to multiple office locations, each of which may have its own network and set of advanced UC services, while at the same time enabling devolved management to local administrators.
Mike Frayne, CEO at VOSS Solutions, commented; “There is a growing requirement for large enterprises to invest in a management platform for their increasingly complex internal voice networks. We are delighted that VOSS can provide such a solution to this strategic customer.”
VOSS, a leader in service delivery software, helps organizations meet their rapidly changing Unified Communications (UC) and IP telephony (IPT) requirements. The VOSS real time, centralized and fully automated UC service delivery platform addresses the challenges involved in managing the entire UC lifecycle: Day-0 initial design; day-1 build and deployment; day-2 support and administration; day-3 upgrade and scaling, enabling its customers to operate highly flexible UC and IPT networks. By simplifying business processes and removing technical complexity, VOSS increases productivity, speeds implementation, cuts costs, and provides a platform to launch new UC services.
