ZTE corporate (ZTE) and Siradel SAS (Siradel) are pleased to announce the signature of a global agreement for the integration and the diffusion of Volcano propagation model inside ZXPOS CNP1, ZTE’s planning tool.
3G and future mobile technology performance are reached only if multi-path radio propagation effects especially observed in dense urban area are well estimated. The quality of service expected today by customers can’t be reached without very accurate radio coverage and interference level prediction.
Based on ray tracing technology, radio coverage prediction calculated by Volcano can strongly reduce financial budget for wireless network infrastructure investment and maintenance.
“I’m very proud to cooperate and sign with ZTE a global agreement to diffuse our Volcano technology with ZTE products around the world. “said Laurent Bouillot, CEO & Chairman of Siradel.
Regarding this cooperation, Mr. Simon Yu, Director of Network Plan & Simulation Department of ZTE said, “Siradel’s ray-tracing propagation model Volcano has been widely proven by the industry and is a highly efficient model. Integrating this model in ZTE’s advanced planning simulation platform CNP, it makes great sense to have accurate prediction beforehand in helping out ZTE’s world-wide customers to deploy and optimize 3G and B3G era multi-service broadband wireless network.”
